Simon recently conducted a tour for students from Singapore. Below is a letetr received by Simion from one of the delighted students.

I hope you are well and had a fabulous Christmas.  It's been terribly gloomy and wet in Singapore and that's what Christmas was like for us.
I thought I should drop you a note to let you know about the feedback from our teachers and students who met you in Clitheroe/Pendle.  They all enjoyed meeting you and found you and the tour fantastic.  The stories you shared with them were deeply appreciated and the costume was a real novelty for them.  Janice, my colleague, says you are an absolute gentleman. 
It has been a pleasure working with you on this and I look forward to future collaborations with you, together with the teachers and students from Singapore.

We met Simon after lunch for our afternoon tour of Bowland. Although the weather was dull and dreary Simon brightened up the day with his informative and entertaining commentary. Bowland is an area that I have travelled past many times over the years without realizing that it has so much to offer. Simon's afternoon tour took us through some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. I was so impressed with Simon and the area that I immediatley booked Simon for more tours in 2009.
